Rider Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Navigate to Web URL or Download App

Have your member ID card or Benefits Information handy.
Go to book.rideroundtrip.com if you prefer to use the web or download the Roundtrip Health mobile app from the Apple or Google Play app store. Tip: if using the web, bookmark book.rideroundtrip.com onto your mobile screen or computer desktop for easy access.

Step 2: Complete Registration

Click Register Now and provide email and password. Tip: If you use Gmail or Apple, you have the option to register and sign in via those credentials.
Select who is providing your rides. Tip: if you receive your ride benefit from your health insurance, select Health Plan.
Enter your First Name, Last Name and Member ID exactly how it appears on your insurance card or benefit information.
You’ll be asked to provide some additional details before accepting Terms and Conditions to complete registration.

Step 3: Update Preferences in My Account

Navigate to My Account to view your Trip History (for completed trips) and Benefits Description. You can also edit a variety of preferences, including:

Edit profile
- Name (if you are not signed in using a social account—Apple, Google)
- Weight (if you are eligible to book wheelchair vans)
- Phone Number and communication preferences
Saved Payment Cards. Tip: This option will only appear if you are eligible to use a personal payment method for booking rides.

Step 4: Set Up Trip

Book a trip by clicking on the Book Trip tab or Book Trip Now button.
Enter destination and pickup addresses for your trip.
- Tip: Your benefit provider may restrict your trip to a certain mileage in which case you may be prompted to change the destination or pickup location.
Choose your ride and trip reason. If you can move around without assistance, select Rideshare (Uber or Lyft) or Taxi. Otherwise, if you benefit provider allows it, you may select Medical Sedan or Wheelchair van.
- Tip: If rideshare is not reliably available for the addresses you provide, you may only see Taxi as an option.

Set up timing for your trip. Select one way vs. round trip, date, time and driver instructions for your trip. If you selected Medical Sedan or Wheelchair Van, you will be asked to confirm if you have some additional needs
- Tip: You can book rideshare immediately, but you may be required to book Taxi, Medical Sedans and Wheelchair vans at least 24 or 48 hours in advance to ensure Roundtrip can find a driver. Therefore, at this point in the booking process the date and time picker will restrict you from booking too late

Before you continuing to payment, you may consider booking a recurring ride, often helpful if you have appointments on a regular (weekly or monthly) basis.

Step 5: Review Trip & Complete Payment

Review your ride information to ensure it is accurate.
Select your payment method. How you pay for your trip will depend on how your benefit provider has designed your transportation benefit.
- Ride Count: If your benefit provider has a fixed set of rides available to you, you’ll be able to deduct from your ride count for the trip. Tip: For round trips, each leg of your trip will use 1 ride credit
- Flex Card: If your benefit provider has enabled your transportation benefit through a flex benefit card, you may enter and save your card information
- Volunteer Rides: If you are a member of the Road to Recovery American Cancer Society program, you will be able to select use of a volunteer driver
- Subsidized Rides: If you are a paratransit program member, you will see the subsidy you are receiving and be able to enter and save a card number for the balance of your trip cost
Once done reviewing ride and payment details, click Book Trip Now or Pay Now

Step 6: View Ride Details
