Rider App Registration Guide
Roundtrip’s convenient Rider App makes managing your transportation needs simple.
Book rides in minutes right from your web browser or mobile device — no phone calls required.
You can also reschedule or edit rides, cancel rides that are no longer needed, and keep track of your upcoming trips, all in one easy-to-use platform.

Step 1:
Get Ready

Your Member ID
You’ll need this to create your account. -
Get the App
Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for “Roundtrip Health: Rider App.” -
Using a computer?
You can also go to book.rideroundtrip.com on your web browser- Tip: Save the website as a "bookmark" so you can find it quickly later!
Step 2:
Create Your Account

Open the app and tap Register Now

Type in your email and pick a password you can remember. You can also sign in with your Google or Apple account. Next, you will be asked for your member ID. Type in your name, birthday, date of birth, and phone number to verify your identity.
- Read the rules, click agree, and you’re all set!
Step 3:
Update Your Settings
Navigate to My Account to view your Trip History (for past rides). You can also edit a variety of preferences:
- Go to My Account to see your old rides or change your info.
- Edit Profile: Here you can update your phone number or change your language (English or Spanish).
- Help Center: Click here if you have questions or need help using the app.
Step 4:
Book a Ride

Tap the Book Trip button.
- Type in where you are (Pickup) and where you are going (Drop-off).
- Choose the type of car you need (Rideshare may be the only option) and the reason for your trip.
- Choose your time: Pick the date and pickup time for your ride. You can book a one-way trip or a round trip. You can be picked up immediately or schedule it for later
Chesterfield County has restrictions based on the service area and trip reason selected. You will not be able to proceed with booking if the entered addresses and/or trip reason do not meet these requirements. For questions regarding service areas, please contact Mobility Services at (804) 706-2796.
Tip for Dialysis: If you have appointments every week, you can set up a Repeating Ride so you don't have to book it every single time.
The Ride Home: You can book your return ride as a "Will-Call" ride. This means the ride waits for you to tap a button when your appointment is finished.
Step 5:
Review Your Ride
Double-check all the information for your ride is correct, including the time, date, and addresses.
- Select your payment method. How you pay for your ride will depend on how Chesterfield County has designed your transportation benefit.
- Tip: When a ride is scheduled, a hold will be placed on your credit card. This hold will be replaced by a charge once the ride is completed or if a missed connection fee is assessed.
Subsidized Rides: For Chesterfield Mobility Services members, you will see the subsidy you are receiving and be able to enter and save a credit card for the balance of your trip cost.
Once done reviewing ride and payment details, click Book Trip Now or Pay Now to complete your booking.
Step 6:
Review Your Scheduled Rides
Look at the My Trips tab to see all the rides you have scheduled. Here is what the status words mean:

- Requested: We are looking for a driver for you.
- To Destination: The driver is on their way to pick you up!
- Canceled: The ride was stopped and will not come.
- Completed: Your ride is finished.
- Tip: For Uber or Lyft rides, you can see exactly who is picking you up and where the car is on a map when you tap View Details!
Step 7:
Manage Your Rides
If your plans change, go to My Trips and tap View Details.

- To Cancel: Tap Cancel Ride. Please tell us why you are canceling.
- To Change: Tap Edit Trip to change the time or place.
- Ready to go home? If you booked a "Will-Call" ride, tap Launch Will Call when your appointment is over, and a driver will be sent to you.
